"Only a few things in life can match a campfire jam"

BM in Oboe Performance from the University of Illinois
Freelance Educator and Performer
Key Account Specialist at MakeMusic, Inc

I started my musical life at 5 years old, in Elmhurst, IL, banging on the piano and pretending to be a songwriter. Spending most of my earlier years working at the oboe, performing and making reeds, I eventually found songwriting which entirely altered my musical perspective. Since that point, I've released two solo albums, two EPs with Square Donuts, and a single from Dreamboats. Since then I've relocated to Colorado and created a new, but taking from the old, musical journey. I'm working at my dream company, MakeMusic, as a Key Account Specialist, run a vocal studio, and perform solo in and around our quant town, Longmont, Colorado.

My teaching career began at School of Rock where I learned how to focus lessons on students' interests and musical styles. After relocating to Colorado from Chicago, I created my own lesson studio in my home in Longmont, Colorado. Our lessons will be very focused on your musical interests. We'll learn through songs and seamlessly incorporate warm-ups and music theory while keeping it spunky.

Outside of music, you'll find me at a campfire in the mountains with my husband or playing with my 90-pound polar bear, Lou, who loves to hang out in the lesson room.

Sign up for a lesson and let's jam!
